How to get a certificate of donations?

As a Foundation based in the European Union, we have the necessary status to be able to theoretically issue a certificate at European level, and we are already doing so for Spanish donors since 2013 and for French donors since 2018. However, although the European Union recognises non profit organisations within the Union as apt to provide such a certificate, each country must follow a separate recognition process before certificates can be issued in each country.

As a consequence, we cannot issue this certificate in all countries until the final agreement of the tax authorities of each country has been reached. In the coming years we will do our best to be recognised in new countries.
