How to create a Teaming Group step by step

Creating a Teaming Group will allow you to raise micro-donations of 1€ per month for your social cause. In this article we will guide you through the creation process step by step so you can create your group in 5 minutes.

Before creating the Group, you have to decide who will be the person who will manage it. We call this person the Teaming Manager. In Teaming this person also has a double-role: they are Teaming Manager but also Teamer. It is important to know that there can be several Teaming Managers managing the Group and that the registration data of these people can be edited at any time.

The person who will lead the Teaming Group has to follow the following steps:

1. Access here to register if you are not registered on Teaming yet. If you already are, click on „I’m registered already in Teaming“.

You can register by filling in the form (name, surname, email and password chosen to access in your future Teaming sessions), but also by using the registration with Facebook or Google option.

The name and surname are usually the name of the person who creates it but can also be the name of the NGO, for example name: Teaming, and surname: Foundation.

If you fill in the form, you will have to confirm your email by clicking on the link in the validation email that you will receive from info@teaming.net. If you are have trouble confirming your email, check this post.

If you register with Facebook or Google, you won’t need to go through this stage because Facebook and Google transmit your data to us.

2. In the next step you will see a form to create your Group in which you will have to explain what you do and why you need to raise funds. You will be able to modify it later without any problem, so don’t worry if it’s not the perfect text.

3. The penultimate step consists in entering your bank details (you can choose between bank account or bank card), where you will donate your euro. These data are not the data of the beneficiary account of the funds, but your payment data for the collection of your monthly euro as Teamer of the Group.

In other words, as the creator and manager of the Group, you are the first to commit to donating one euro a month to the Group. This euro is not a hidden commission, since this euro will be transferred to the cause account, just like the other euros, as soon as the Teaming Manager transfers the funds collected in the Group. It is a symbolic euro that shows your commitment and trust in the Teaming Group you have just created.

4. Once you have entered your bank details, the Group will be public and you will be able to add a photo, edit the title and description data if you want to change them and finally share the Group to gain Teamers.
